It'll be interesting to see if this government inquiry into why we get ripped off so bad on just about everything goes anywhere .........it's about time , but knowing our government it'll be a waste of time and money.

Interesting though that they've called in all the IT company heads to find out why for instance a digital music file costs 50% more here than in the USA and why it's cheaper to buy a return flight to the USA and purchase a $2000 piece of IT hardware than buy here in Australia.

The answer to their question is obvious - the companies have decided we're dumb enough to pay more and that's that.
