Agree mate, people seem the forget these things. In the space of a year, the guy had major surgery, and only made his first real public appearance at NAMM in Jan! Considering so many big name bands leave it several years between records, its no biggie. DLR perhaps is more aware of the clock ticking regarding the voice etc. He has/is been "match fit" so to speak, having toured recently and at his age, years off of the road make it way harder. Its more than possible that EVH will do as stated previously, and begin going through what he has on tape at 5150, and start shaping them up. Old songs, new songs..don't care. We've said this before...do people really think other bands don't revisit their demo's and shelved ideas? Get real..of course they do, they just don't perhaps publicise the fact. Fingers crossed there is more to come. ADKOT was a excellent record.
