They already did the Sam & Dave tour and didn't even talk to each other or perform on stage together... so a band featuring both of them will never happen. They have both slagged each other off too much, and have ego's far too big.
Besides, Sammy can fall back to playing rhythm while Dave is up front, what can Dave do when Sammy is up front?
Nice idea in theory...
I'd like to see Dave form a band with John 5 on Guitar, Mitch Malloy on Rhythm Guitar & Backing Vocals, Billy Sheehan on Bass, Pat Torpey on Drums and Danny Wagner or Michael T. Ross on keys, and take that out on the road, writing a new album in the process...
