Sorry Robert but there's no way in the world Warrant can be classified as bubblegum pop/rock. A song like Machine Gun is heavy hard rock and Uncle Tom's Cabin features blazing guitar work. Sure they've done some ballads but they are not as soppy as some other bands that I won't care to mention. And live Warrant come across as much heavier than you would expext.
As for the new CD I don't want them compromising and going for a "Lit- Marvellous 3" sound. I would like to hear something following on from the hard hitting approach of the excellent 'Dog Eat Dog' album - ballsy melodic hard rock. If the songs are good I reckon it could do okay in the marketplace...
