Carl--

Always interested to hear what The Beard are up to next. Their last one-'X' was perhaps their most solid since Neal Morse left. Now with Nick DiVirgilio gone, the plot thickens once again. I like the samples I heard but you can't judge prog music by samples. Too many things going on per track of course. And ths new lead singer--from ENchant,is it(?) sounds decent enough tho I'm not much of a fan of his (main) band. They're just so-so,IMO. Tho The Beard are still a solid band, I will always prefer those Neal led early releases as he wrote the bulk of that material. He' simply the best prog writer about, hands down. hope the new cd is great tho... I'll be checking on it. Thanks for the update. T

pS: sure wish Alan Morse would do another solo instrumental cd. His 'Four O'Clock & Hysteria' cd is really killer!
