I won't go ballistic. I just find it incredibly boring and more than a little sad, that a genre I once lived and breathed is in such a sorry state that only one guy (who's music does nothing for me at all) is solely responsible for writing the bulk of it.
Thankfully i've discovered Miles Of Will (Neal should be calling on his son and his friends to write the next Journey album if this E.P is anything to go by!), Colin Blades, Lawson and I quite enjoyed the Vic Heart stuff, so I know there is potential out there for young guys with new material, that's up-dated the style rather than re-treading old ground.
Also there's always Justin Bieber and One Direction who have more lyrical depth than most of the cliche'd tripe coming out at the minute! :-p
