I haven't listened to the debut in quite some time but....

I liked the first album, but there were some things I didn't warm to. This one, judging only by the samples, is better in every department (IMHO). Especially the sound has been improved. I didn't like the guitar sound on the first disc (too hollow, sounded like it was recorded in a box) but it's way better on these samples....and the heaviness, tougher approach suits me fine.

Jeff's voice sounds a little warmer and not as "reverby" on these clips too, if I remember correctly (?).

I wonder how much you, JSS, have had a part of the songwriting? Is it your lyrics?

Anyway, an vast improvement, in my ears.
