Being in a band, I am sure you can find business partners who can invite you. Aren't you connected to/working with Keith Olsen?
When I attended in 2008, David Garfield and Neil Stubenhaus organized the pass and tickets to some events (Yamaha Groove Night, Yamaha Dealers Concert) for me though...Yamaha. Through Garfield / Yamaha, I also was invited to the Frankfurt Music Messe in 2007.
The Yamaha guys I met were really cool. Very nice people.
