I've always liked a big variety of rock with styles borrowing from many different types of music. But it certainly mostly revolves around rock. Some other genres bore me,tho I can respect musicianship involved. For instance--they can keep reggae..same exact beat song after song. *Yawn*. Same with old blues. Same exact rhythm patterns and lyrical bent in that stuff. Now--you take ANY style and infuse/improve it into rock,and it comes alive for me. Guess that's why I like country rock,folk rock,prog rock,hard rock,etcetc.. T
