Fair enough,Van. But MOST bands still DO play at least aone or two (or more ) new songs in their current live sets. Not a bad thing,by any means. but the majority of music fans always heard of a new album and the lead single on radio. if they liked it,they were THAT much more stoked to go see the show aND respond in kind to the new song/songs--AND pick up the new release. It's the very best way and it's long gone. does the genre suffer appropriately from this? You betcha! T
