As albums go it's a cracker. True, it's not the 'real' Journey but Perry is out of this world, the songs are excellent and the production is superb.
I'd love to have heard it with Steve and Ross, but that will never happen. As it stands it's right up there with the bands best. In my humble opinion, of course.
Sadly the image that went along with the album was shocking. But the album WAS promoted, and promoted hard. Journey, at that time, were one of the biggest bands in the world and would have received a promotional budget to support that.
