The 5 or 6 tracks they recorded for the Showtime DVD at these session are very good versions. I don't mind having new versions, slightly tweaked and UFO made it a mixed bag of classics and cult faces (Profession Of Violence).

VM is a good player, but he's brought new elements to the solo's. He uses a lot of neck pick-up, a more twangy tone at times. My biggest gripe is I just wish in these twilight years, they had ditched the studio/producer routine that is TOMMY NEWTON! Monkey Puzzle, Visitor and Seven Deadly could have all been so much better had they had a better producer that worked things up a bit more, and mixed them better. As a life long UFO fan, those records are the only ones that I cherry pick about three songs from each LP from to listen to. Its simply the audio mix..some of it I cannot stand.
