I posted emotionally, and my point was not obvious. OK. This is not only about Brazil, now. I know it's rock and roll, there are no rules. Of course, you are free to sing in a language, that not everyone in your own country can understand. BUT if you are not good with that language, then NOBODY can understand you... you are singing to NOBODY! How can this be smart for a band's career? Most bands have enough trouble, just being recognized in their own city. If you are thinking your own city does not matter... you hope to have success outside your country... do not forget that you are competing with a million bands who are native-speakers, and they already live there, and play there, and you do not. So you can't just be "OK": you need to be THE BEST. Someone needed to say this, but I did not say it very well. (!!!!) Now I am saying it.
