Yes and no. A band in their 50's (ish) with a 20 year old singer may not be the best fit..

JSS in Journey??? Did a great job but I'm not certain he'd hit the notes now on Mother Father with the same near schoolboy approach that Perry did back in the early 80's.

Todd has done a cracking job on the likes of 'Queen of the Ryche' etc

At some point, the band need to be who they are in the current day. Todd is old enough and mature enough to write songs that suit the band of their age but also do the early material enough justice.

That's my 5p worth.
