The cult planned the same, just releasing digital eps, and came up with a strong full length album.
I think deflep concentrate way too
much on their 'hits' ignoring new songs live and that way haven't in any way promoted those songs and albums while touring every year....other bands like maiden and even whitesnake play new songs regularly and sell albums that way as well...
I think it's all their own fault and hopefully they'll come up with a bunch of songs that they want to push and feature live - so people want a full album (& buy it)!
