I agree with Figge that Jorn's solo project needs some new spirit. It's been the same for many albums now. The new one ("Bring Heavy Rock To The Land") though have more variation than in many years, and he's on the right track. I would really like to see this line-up with Bernt and Trond from Wig Wam write and records with Jorn. I've seen this new line-up live, and that was really good. But Jorn should find a new drummer as well...
On the Wig Wam side, they don't do much. After the previous album "Non Stop Rock 'N' Roll" they did many concerts, mainly in Norway but also some gigs in Europe (like the H-E-A-T Festival in 2010).
But after the release of "Wall Street" (spring/early summer of 2012) they did one TV-appearance in Norway (on TV2's "Sommertid") and only ONE concert in Bergen in the autumn. That's way too bad!
But why? Well, Glam (Åge Sten Nilsen) have been busy with his Queen-show "
The Show Must Go On" which has been a huge success for 5 years in Norway. And he has also produced a new Michael Jackson show "The Thrill Of Michael Jackson".
Meanwhile Trond "Teeny" Holter have done studio work in his own studio, done a few gigs with
Dream Police, toured with Jorn in Norway and South America.
Bernt "Flash" Jansen" have been working as a teacher (his main job), but have now joined Jorn as well.
But together Trond and Bernt have another new band/project going on called
Baby Snakes. They are putting the finishing touches on their upcoming album. Check out their first single/video "Gunslinger" here:
