Bummer - I couldn't stand Jess after the first 4 or 5 episodes and gave up. Maybe I should have stuck with it.
Raising Hope is great! Loved the first series but missed the 2nd one when it began over here, so will have to watch out for repeats. Which shouldn't be too hard. I think Garrett Dillahunt is a great actor, but I had no idea he was so good at comedy until I watched Raising Hope. I also love it because it's from the same guy that did My Name Is Earl and I worshipped that programme, even if it did run out of steam in the end.
