I think that's a pretty large generalisation mate. Whilst success has inevitably bred imitation shows like Southland, Lie To Me, The Mentalist, White Collar, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, Smash, Mad Men, Friday Night Lights, Burn Notice etc aren't derivative of any of the ones you've listed.

It also depends on the quality of the derivative for me. Sons Of Anarchy is undoubtedly The Sopranos with a biker gang, but is exceptional regardless.
