Good song. Catchy and seems they put a bit of thought into the lyrics. I know a lot of people clamor for them to "rock" like back in the day, but a lot of their recent rock-ish stuff just sounds like "Its My Life" knock-offs musically and lyrically does nothing for me. "I'll live while I'm alive and bounce back because I'm unbreakable..." ;-) Yawn. Good for you, buddy. Puff that chest out. Sure, "Its My Life" was great and a big song for you, but come on now. However, all their other recent stuff I seem to like, when they're putting more thought into it and sounding more honest (IMO) vs rewriting the same "rock" song over and over. Whether its rock, pop, country, ballads, whatever.

Some bands just click with you and these guys do for me. So yeah, seems a little more thought went into the lyrics for this one. Its not These Days, but it'll do. I don't know, I've said all this before, for probably 10 years now, and not to get all Butch Walker, but I guess I'm at the point in my life where I just want good songs, regardless of style. Sure, I thought I was a metalhead when I was a kid (just because bands like this were on Headbanger's Ball lol), who doesn't, but it was just part of finding myself musically. Wow, didn't plan to write (re-write? oops lol) so much again about these guys and this song. I might be alone on all this, at least here, but I'm cool with that (feel free to call me a housewife, I could use a good laugh) ;-)
