Brilliant record, absolute belter..they morphed 70's rock (DC / UFO / LIZZY) with the more melodic elements of the sounds coming out of America at the turn of the 80's. The wrapped up that sound in "DEF LEP"..its their sound and no-one did it as well, although as they set the trend in writing and production in that era, very few if any came remotely close to matching the brilliance.

PYROMANIA and HYSTERIA, like or loathe them today, those two records pretty much set the standard for great BIG arena rock.
