Wasn't he arrested last year or before for beating his girlfriend? Can't remember the outcome of that.
Can't say I'd be too fussed if he released anything nowadays. His solo albums are typical 80s fodder and not many of the songs have stood the test of time important although That time of year is an all time fave of mine.
