Additional announcement for the upcoming Damon Johnson concert at Poor David's Pub in Dallas on Saturday, February 9:

I have invited a very talented and up-and-coming local band to open for Damon acoustically. They are called Plowboy (made up of four 14-15 year olds) and here is a sample of them performing an original song a couple of weekends ago -

They also just released their first full-length CD, "Headlong and Roaming", which can be found on itunes, Amazon, cdbaby.com, and Spotify.

Some of you who have attended either one of my Rik Emmett concerts or the Ronnie Montrose show back in 2011 may remember Plowboy and/or their lead singer Jonah Smith. I went to see them perform at Lee Harvey's in Dallas on January 5 and they absolutely blew me away.
