There's a little combo known as Journey who's previous singer was of Portuguese descent. There were glimpses of English within the lyrics, but the flurry of vowels sounds that followed usually suggested another language may have been involved. A simple word like "fool" would be expanded to Foo-oo-oo-aa--ee-aaee-oo-oo-llahhhhh, also involving a couple of throat clicks that suggested something a lot more Amazonian may be at play, further confusing the origins of the text.

These days they have a Filipino lead singer who's English diction is impeccable
