Yeah I think you're reading between the lines for yourself there Can Man.
If anything Sweet is a much closer fit than Victor, so why would you replace someone who you get along with and suits the style of your band for someone you don't know and doesn't have the same vocal style as Delp or Sweet in that role?
I think Sweet is going to be very busy with 2 Stryper albums, a tour and a new solo album. And as Troy said, i'm sure he contributed to the potential new album during his tenure with the band.
