As a long term but now former Yngwie fan, I said to Andrew I thought his review was overly generous. Spellbound is an abysmal album, his worst ever IMHO and a total waste of his outrageous talent. Sadly his ego is such that he won't work with others; he plays guitar, bass, keyboards, programs the drums, produces, composes all the songs (loose definition there) and even sings on Spellbound, so is it any wonder he feels doing press is beneath him?
