It was recorded/intended for general release, but at the time the labels dithered etc..DD had the rights, time went by etc...so he decided to press/sell it himself exclusively to fans attending shows and then what was left of the first and only press via his web page. I don't think theres any great conspiracy to seek out here, but if thats what floats yer boat...
