Rock City club night:H.E.A.T. ?

Bought a ticket for HEAT at Nottingham RC for April and we were told when we bought the tickets that it was a club night and doors didn't open til 10pm. Anyone seen a group on a club night and do they have get to play a decent length set and come on early or late after 10?
