I think you're unfairly judging them. They've only really got themselves together since the exit of Geoff, in the last few months.
They've gone out on the road and delivered many songs that Queensryche fans have been crying out for, for over a decade.

They have a new album due out this year which from very short clip listens, sounds like a return to form.

Queensryche have been dying on their feet for over a decade and this is the biggest breath of fresh air they could ever ask for. Before resigning them to the 'tribute of themselves' bin, I think you should give them a chance with the new guy.

On a side-note regarding live material, it's damned if you do, damned if you don't. If they go out and keep pushing recent material that no-one likes, no-one will go to see them. If they do a 'greatest hits' set (not unlike Def Leppard do), they get ripped as well.
