It wasn't heavy for Survivor. Not at all, in fact it was more a return to the hard rock sound prior to Vital Signs.

All of the pre VS albums, the Bickler era basically, was hard rock. THTS also benefitted from a great mix. Crystal clear, guitar front and centre - not to mention having Mickey Curry playing drums. No disrespect to Marc Droubay, but Mickey is in another league entirely.

Too Hot......was the return of the real Survivor.
