When Seconds Count did have decidedly less guitars in the mix,and we had that 'lovely' NO-bass Nevison mix,as I recall. I just thought it too light & fluffy/uber commercial sounding when I got it. Vital Signs was def more commercial for them, but WSC just went too far for me at first. But the songs won out after awhile and once the corner was turned, I really dug it. One of my fav tunes by them--Rebel Son, is on it. Great track! Too Hot To Sleep went the other way for me... Isn't this awful heavy for Survivor? Can't these guys make up their minds? And..where's the rhythm section? Another Raised On Radio scenario--here we go. Same deal...I came to enjoy it much later upon digging it out of the ol' collection. Cool when that happens. I tried that a few different times with CITG. Never quite took for me. T
