Fantastic show per usual from Mr. Walker. He had a couple of familiar faces with him in the band. Some guys from his Black Widows and Stacy Jones (American Hi-Fi) stepped in on drums for the night. He played a typical set, mostly pulled from his last 3 or 4 albums.

The highlights were an a capella version of Cigarette Lighter Love Song to open the set and the inclusion of 3 new songs from his upcoming album. They follow pretty closely with his last album, The Spade. Rootsy with some Elvis Costello/Tom Petty-isms.

Great night. Here's the setlist:

Cigarette Lighter Love Song
Going Back/Going Home
Closer to the Truth and Further From the Sky
Closest Thing to You I’m Gonna Find
Dublin Crow
Let It Go Where It’s Supposed To (new song)
The Weight of Her
I’ve Been Waiting For This (new song)

Pretty Melody
Race Cars and Goth Rock
She Likes Hair Bands
Summer of ‘89
End of the World (new song)
The 3 Kids in Brooklyn
