Same thing for me in about 80/81, when the radio started playing "True To The Light" by Starcastle one afternoon (probably the first and only time Starcastle was played on UK radio).

Unfortunately, the DJ didn't mention the name of the band, and it took me about 5 years to stumble across it again and find out who it was.
