I don't think we'll see the classic DOKKEN! I think the whole "DOKKEN is over" etc, "I want to do a mellow acoustic LA record" is because DD has realised the voice is not recovering as planned and he simply has lost the range to do those songs. Lynch/Brown/Pilson must realise this too.
DD's re-workings (currently in progress) of a "Best Of" MICHAEL SCHENKER's Thank You songs couldbe interesting, as DD does the soft acoustic stuff well. I liked his lost solo record SOLITARY, very of that ilk.
