Soleil Moon - On the Way to Everything

Got this album for Christmas on the strength of 'History Repeats Its Pages' and I have to say, I'm not disappointed! Absolutely loving this CD. You can really hear the time and thought that's got into the songwriting, arrangements and performances. Really mature, sophisticated, and heartfelt stuff. Reminds me of Richard Marx at his best. I can see how some of it is a bit 'soft rock' and jazzy for most AOR fans (in fact, I hear a lot of Jonathan Cain and Jim Peterik's solo sound in here) but, personally, I would rate this in the mid 90s (no disrespect to Andrew). Yeah, it's laid back (mostly) but it just oozes quality and class.

Also loving the bonus tracks.

Does anyone have a CD copy of their first album they'd like to sell (or know where I can get a copy for a reasonable price)? I'm guessing Frontiers aren't likely to re-release it given the 3 bonus tracks on the new album.

Awesome stuff.

- Danny.
