APPLES (& PEARS) RESTAURANT

Cockney Rhyming Slang has rules and grammar, meanwhile our TV cookery programmes become ever more confusing & pretentious. So let’s merge the two !!

In Cockney Rhyming Slang, we never call the Stairs the Pears, we call them by the none rhyming word, Apples.

Imagine then, if that non-rhyming word also has to have some link to the word it describes, this could become very complicated, but no more awkward than trying to work out what a “freeze packed cardoman jue” might be.

So let the fun commence. Below is a menu for Apples (& Pears) Restaurant, represented by the grammar of Cockney Rhyming Slang, try to fathom out what might arrive on your plate. Good luck, see you in sanatorium !!

EXAMPLE
STEAK = TUNA BAKE, therefore would be shown below as TUNA
CHIPS = CHEESE DIP, therefore would be shown below as CHEESE
