It all comes down to budget and promotion ..... However obviously a band/solo singer who is remembered or currently in the spotlight should sell more tickets than the die hard AOR fan who knows many bands in the genre. Unfortunately some bands think they are worth more than they actually are.....
For me to travel from the U.K it would have to be a killer bill..... Dan Reed Network original line up, Joey Tempest doing material from his first two solo albums, original WhiteLion, Saraya, TalBachman(what happened to him?)..... etc ..... And if not solely AOR what about Sister Hazel ?
Richie Sambora may sound daft but he can sell very little on his own stateside so may be he his book able if you can get any where near direct contact with management ?
