Yeah, it's a shame he never settles in one band and stays there!
He did reform Bad Company with Dave Colwell, Jaz Lochrie and Simon Kirke, but then Paul Rodgers put the band back together, so Jaz and Simon were back in that. Robert put together XCOM, as in X-Bad Company, but they were stopped from touring by Paul.
I've never seen him do much live these days. His tenure in Company Of Snakes and Apart From Rod were both quite short, and they weren't performing any of his material anyway.
He lives not far from me, and a friend of mine has been his on-off guitarist since the 80's. Wish him, Dave Colwell & Rick Wills would get a band together, and tour doing Bad Co, solo, Jones Gang and Foreigner stuff, would be bloody good!
Nearest thing seems to be this "Diesel" project with Jim Kirkpatrick due out next year...
