Just kind of in response to my Tribute Band thread, where someone was confused as to why I would consider these guys as a tribute band...
Well they have said in interviews that their live shows are 1978 - 1983 Whitesnake material with one Thunder song and one new Laurie Wisefield composition, so in my mind that makes them kind of like a tribute band.
So, thinking about this, and thinking of the combined history of the band members (Whitesnake, Thunder, Gary Moore, Ozzy Osbourne, Wishbone Ash, Tina Turner, Heartland & Virgina Wolf among others), what would you compile as an ideal setlist for a live performance by the band going forward to make them less of a Whitesnake tribute show?
I'm still thinking of mine, but i'd love to hear Chris Ousey sing Love Walked In and maybe a Tina Turner song (either a rocked up We Don't Need Another Hero or a bluesy I Can't Stand The Rain...)
It would also be nice to hear some Heartland make an appearance alongside the usual Whitesnake fare, and maybe something by The Snakes or Company Of Snakes, who's own material never really got performed live...
