Andy, I never held a gun until 2 years ago so it's hardly ingrained in my pysche. You are correct that I get a kick from having guns around. No different than other hobbies except mine has the added advantage of helping to protect my family. Go to a gun show by my house and you see a literal melting pot of society. Black, white, hispanic, old, young, christian, Jew. You get the point. Same thing at our target ranges. It's a great way for people to come together with a common interest. I really think it's a cultural divide that unless you live here you cannot understand.
