Here is a link right to the FBI so I don't get accused of using "right wing" statistics.

This is brand new. "VIOLENT CRIMES DECLINED FOR THE 5th YEAR IN A ROW".
So we've had an explosion in the number of legal guns being sold over the last few years and crime has gone down.
We can argue over whether more guns caused the decrease but the argument cannot be made that more guns is leading to more violent crime.
Where is this so-called epidemic of violence? It's fantasy created by gun control zealots who themselves hide behind armed guards.
Sandy Hook, Aurora, VA Tech are all tragedies that get blown out of proportion. The link to all these events is that they were "gun free zones". The killer knew he could rampage without fear of getting taken down by someone with a legal concealed weapon. You see, criminals dont follow laws and take advantage of gun free zones. That's the tragedy.
