Ummmm... I need to interject here. I seriously doubt that I am in the minority on this-- I'm here in New York State and don't and NEVER have owned a gun or felt the need to. you guys seem to think that the US is this ever dangerous crime scene 24-7,like some futuristic Thunderdome movie. Yeah--crime happens--like anywhere. BUt it's hardly 'bar the door and lock the trigger' here,for cryin' out loud. SHeesh...T

PS: Like most places,inner city crime is MUCH higher. BUt gun laws STILL need changing,obviously.
