Yeah - that makes sense. It was the first album I heard in 2001 and I think my fondness for it comes from the fact it helped me through a difficult time. Plus, at that point I really dug things that weren't conventional and had loads of different styles. But from a purely musical point of view, Groo Grux is the perfect package.

The Dreaming Tree is so emotional it always gets me!! Spoon is great too and Alanis' vocals work really well. I also love Crush, and that whole romantic late night sax vibe it gives off. Simon? I'm not sure I know that one! Was that on Before These Crowded Streets or another release? Lifehouse did a great song called Simon but that's the only one I know. Now I'm curious mate! :-))
