It's sad though really. I've never been a fan but The guy struck gold working with Jim Steinman, who I have a lot of respect for as a writer and producer. Being objective for a minute 'Bat out of Hell' really is a classic album (Did they do a third one? It should have ended up as a trilogy) and stamped it's mark at the end of the 70's. He sang well on Ted Nugents Free For Album too.
