Death Magnetic was a step back in the right direction after a long long time. But, some of the songs were un-necessarily over long and repetitive and the Rick Rubin production was awful.

Get Fleming Rasmussen or Bob Rock back. Hell, even give Mutt Lange a go after working with Nickelback, but don't let Rick Rubin near it again!
