I have never been excited about anything with Ian Gillan on it! Sad but true.

This said, I quite like the music the band produced since Steve Morse has joined. They have taken some chances, and tried to push the envelope. There is a feeling of adventure, and I think it is highly commandable. This said, for me, Gillan's voice leaves me totally cold and ruins it. I find the man highly interesting, his DVD biography of a few years ago, is absolutely fabulous and a must-have for rock fans, even those like me who do not appreciate his voice and singing.
