Jethro Tull supporting Marillion at the Milton Keynes Bowl in the 80's. They were even more annoying live than on the radio!
Dante fox supporting Night Ranger - just too loud to be enjoyable! Made Motorhead sound like Enya!
Also saw Springsteen on the Born In The USA tour and would have thought it fantastic had the set only been 90 minutes in length. Dragging every song out to ten minutes plus does not make great entertainment in my eyes/ears, however, I will concede that I am probably in the minority on this one? I personally think that "less is more" in most cases i.e. quality over quantity. The only band, IMHO, that can pull off both are Rush.
