To be honest Ive always been glad I went to see bands whether they were good or bad. No regrets but plenty that I didnt like.
Led Zeppelin in 1973. I was never a big fan, but felt I had to see them to see if they changed my mind. I found them boring and was not impressed at all by the musicianship on stage.
Queensryche in Manchester during the OM11 tour. Sad to see a band going through the motions like this.
Hot Legs supporting Alterbridge a couple of years back. Classic Rock are so far up Mr Hawkins arse its frightening. I really dont get it. They were booed from the moment they came on till the moment they left the stage. Awful.
Black Sabbath in 1978. What a shadow of the once great rock band they were. Van Halen certainly DID blow them off the stage.
Shinedown a couple of years ago in Glasgow. Having seen them a couple of times and been very impressed I expected much. This was just awful. Brent Smith drove me and many other fans to an early exit due to his proposterous preaching between every song. Absolute dickhead.
On reflection, this was one gig I wish I hadnt gone to.
Finally after watching Shinedown, performing a blinder as a support band. Disturbed !!! Lasted one song and left. Lol !!!
