Very interesting book that shed a different light on the band. It is extremely well researched. The Johnson Years are discussed too briefly for my taste, with too much emphasis on Bon Scott and his "magic touch". The author does not seem to care much for the Johnson Years, and it is my view that he feels that AC/DC were much less interesting after Bon died. I personally do not share this feeling.

As many bands, one realizes that AC/DC had a run of four classic records sandwiched between "immature" ones, where the band find its style, and uninspired ones, where brilliance is not always there.

Still, the book is worth every penny. Mike Wall always research his subjects extensively and it shows in the final result.
