Lots of bands are doing it. It's about ownership. Fair play to them. I personally think it could be a good idea as Harry's voice hasn't deteriorated at all.
Personally I like the songs on MS but think the production is a bit grungy and muddy (it was '93, Nirvana etc) so think this could be a good idea.
Harry's voice is still as strong as it was 20 years ago. Imagine if Bon Jovi announced they were re-recording 'Slippery'? Now that would be a disaster.
