Had a friend of mine with tix to Earth Wind and Fire for the Richmond Coliseum (sucky venue, but the largest one in the area). They cancelled at the last minute. This was probably 1984 or so.

Nowadays Richmond sucks as far as a concert venue. The Coliseum has acoustic problems, plus it leaks. It never seems that the National gets any acts I want to see (except for Dream Theater, and I had to miss that one because I didn't have the funds.).
